Friends, I had a hard time with this one. Not only because it’s a great feat of physics to appropriately dress a pregnant body, but also because I’m fashionably challenged (that phrase is TM by me) even with a “normal” body. I looked at Pinterest for weeks trying to find something that I thought might be half photo-worthy. After searching for basically all of my second trimester, I’d resolved that I’d have to spend over $100 to get the flowy, comfy, goddessy style dress that my heart desired. Turns out I was wrong! Here is the dress that got my vote for what to wear for maternity photos, as well as a peek at some of our pics because I just couldn’t resist!
Would you believe it if I told you that this was one of the most comfortable things I’ve worn while pregnant? Well it totally was. I wanted something long, with long sleeves, but lightweight and flowy material. I also wanted it to be off the shoulder, which this dress is intended to be, but it’s a struggle that I just wasn’t willing to have while trying to look all goddessy AND make my two year old cooperate while we dragged her around to two different parks to walk nature trails in sandals. HOWEVER, if this is your first baby (and you don’t have a toddler to wrestle), then you could totally do off-the-shoulder with this dress.
After all of my Pinterest searches for what to wear for maternity photos turned up 50,000 dresses that were well over $100, I was waaaay beyond thrilled to find this beauty for THIRTY BUCKS! Plus free two day shipping. HOLLAAAAA Amazon Prime!

I have noticed that this dress goes comes in and out as far as availability, so don’t count on only two days if you’re in a huge hurry. Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about this dress! Here are a few more photos of it by my insanely talented friend, Virginia of Virginia Reese Photography.
Pregnant ladies go get your flowy on!
