This gorgeous flower wall installation is my favorite project for baby girl’s nursery so far! It was so easy that I kinda feel bad even calling it a DIY that is worthy of a tutorial, but nevertheless, here it is! If you have $50 and one hour, you can create this DIY Flower Wall Installation too!
Faux Tin Panel Wall Art DIY
Today I just had to share a quickie DIY that we did weekend before last because it’s just too good. We got a king size bed (*angels singing*) two weeks ago and what we had hanging on the wall over our old bed wasn’t working. Because every penny we have is going towards saving for the baby, the budget for this wall art project was essentially zero dollars. I think I ended up and spent $3.00. #BigSpender So here’s how we made this gorgeous faux tin panel wall art DIY on the cheap!
DIY Bath Tub Tray: Quick, Easy, & (Almost) Free
I have GOT to slow down. At this point, I’m 24 weeks pregnant and still going full steam on the many house projects that I have in my mind. It’s like a revolving list. One thing gets crossed off, three more get added. Why?! I always think, “I just need to get x, y, z done and THEN I’ll chill.” So far that has not happened. SO. I’m putting it on my list to relax. There are no more babies in the plans for us and at some point I’d like to just enjoy being pregnant. We have a beautiful bathroom (with newly painted cabinets, thank you very much) and a ginormous bath tub, so I think that’s where I’ll start. So of course, I needed a DIY Bath Tub Tray.
I saw this lil project from Amanda at Love and Renovations and already owned all of the materials to make it happen, so I thought #DIYnot?! (Yes, I see the irony that my “relax time” required another project. Sigh.) Here is my take on the super quick and easy DIY Bath Tub Tray!
Quick and Easy DIY Farmhouse Shelf
One of the things that makes a new house feel the most homey to me is getting stuff up on the walls after you move in. In our family room above the sofa, I tossed up a piece that I had on the wall in our old living room. I loved it in our old house, but it was just a little boring in the new space. I tried layering my DIY Magnolia Leaf Wreath over it, but it was still blah. I had this wall space in the back of my mind as a “to-do”, when a ginormous cow print that I happened upon at Lowe’s stopped me in my tracks! His sweet little moo cow face was all the inspiration I needed for what would be perfect on this wall, enter the quick and easy DIY Farmhouse Shelf!
Make a Giant Canvas Transfer
Do any of you have things in your house that you stare at for basically ever, thinking “I don’t really love that”, but you never do anything about it, until suddenly one day you just can’t stand the sight of it for one more second and it has to go literally right then? Yeah, me too. The mantel (or lack thereof) in our last house was one, and this canvas in our current breakfast nook was another. I had to change it ASAP and wanted to make my own giant canvas transfer… but how?!VIEW POST
Make a Magnolia Wreath in 10 Mins. Seriously.
Magnolia leaf wreaths are so big right now and I was jonesin’ for one real bad. I also needed a lil project for the weekend, so when I saw a pile of Magnolia branches on our neighbors curb on Thursday evening it was like the stars were aligning.
